Firefighting Regulations

1. Firefighting Requirements during Booth Setup
(1). Exhibitors are responsible for firefighting at their booths, and must fulfill their responsibilities stipulated in the Fire Prevention Law of the People¡¯s Republic of China.
(2). Personnel involved in booth setup must have a good knowledge about the Exit routes and the location of indoor fire hydrants, fire extinguishers and manual fire alarms at the exhibition halls.
(3). Bare space decoration programs and materials to be used for decoration must be submitted to the Exhibition Affairs Team for review and approval. Decoration must be conducted strictly in accordance with the approved programs.
(4). Non-flammable or fire-retardant materials are bly recommended for booth setup. The electrical heating components of electric appliances or illumination devices should be kept safely away from inflammables. If they are installed directly on flammable facilities or adjacent to combustibles, heat insulation and fire protection measures must be taken.
(5). It is strictly prohibited to carry dangerous articles into the exhibition halls, where flaming fire operation and smoking are inhibited. In case flaming fire operation is necessary, authorization from the Service Counters is required. Flaming fire operation cannot be performed without on-spot supervision by relevant personnel of the XICEC, or without fire protection in place.
(6). Booth setup must ensure that exit routes and emergency exits are unobstructed, and that no exit signs are covered. Any occupation or sheltering over indoor fire hydrants and manual fire alarms, or piling under fire-resistant rolling blinds is expressly forbidden.?
(7). In case of fire, measures must be taken immediately to extinguish the fire, such as tum on the manual fire alarm or dial 119 for fire fighting.
(8). Any violation of the aforementioned regulations or other firefighting regulations must be reported to the Exhibition Affairs Team or the Fire Brigade under Xiamen Public Security Bureau.

(2). Exhibitors must have a good knowledge about the exit routes and the location of indoor fire hydrants, fire extinguishers and manual fire alarms.
(3). Exhibitors must ensure that exit routes and emergency exits are unobstructed, and keep firefighting facilities and equipment intact and visible.
(4). Smoking or flaming fire is strictly prohibited at the exhibition halls, including the venue, booths, warehouses, passages and staircases, etc. No dangerous articles shall be taken into the venue. Electric heating devices are prohibited.
(5). Exhibitors must perform site inspections to identify and eradicate any potential danger of fire in time.
(6). In case of fire, measures must be taken immediately to extinguish the fire, such as to turn on the manual fire alarm or dial 119 for fire fighting.
(7). Any violation of the aforementioned regulations or other firefighting regulations must be reported to the Exhibition Administration Team or the Fire Brigade under Xiamen Public Security Bureau.
