(The China Press from New York) The 13th China International Fair for Investment and Trade is to be held in Xiamen, Fujian province during September 8th to 11th. High level business delegation from the Business Development Agency of United States Department of Commerce, Joint Delegation of the US-China Entrepreneur and Texas Business Delegation will take part in CIFIT, hoping to find more business opportunities in China against the backdrop of the sluggish American economy.
The three American delegations are organized by China International Exhibition Expansion Company and CIFIT American Liaison Office. They will hold commercial activities and set up communication platform in CIFIT to promote the communication and cooperation between China and the United States in the fields of technology, trade, culture, commerce and real estate.
High level business delegation from the Business Development Agency of United States Department of Commerce is led by Dai Wenbo, who is the chief executive of Minority Business Development Agency for the Northeast 14 states. Zhu Linji, Chairman of Honorary Asian American Advisory Board, will be among this delegation. The participation of this delegation marks a beginning of American minority businessmen coming into china and cooperating comprehensively with Chinese businessmen. Dai Wenbo and Zhu Linji will make speeches at CIFIT about the encouraging policies, promotion, managerial experience and model in supporting and encouraging the minority companies by the Business Development Agency of United States Department of Commerce.
Chen Zhong, Asia-Pacific Director of the Governor's Office, will lead the Texas business delegation. It will hold First International Investment Forum on Petroleum, which is the main part of investing in Texas. There are many VIPs in this delegation, including president and chief executive officer of American NEXUS Energy Company Neil Bush (younger brother of George H. W. Bush), Fort Worth Energy Company CEO Stark, and president of American Dallas Chamber of Commerce Sara Carabias Rush.
Besides those two delegations, CIFIT American Liaison Office also organizes some American entrepreneurs to participate in this year’s session in Xiamen. They bring with them such projects as financial investment, international financial service, new material, green energy, environmental protection, automation, communication, information technology, modern logistics, the third services outsourcing, commerce, real estate and hotel. They will take full advantage of CIFIT’s business matchmaking function to develop overall commercial communication and expand their business opportunities.
President of China International Exhibition Expansion Company and director of CIFIT American Liaison Office Ms Zhang Liyuan expressed that she felt very delighted to have those three delegations come to CIFIT. She also said that CIFIT has been successfully held in Xiamen 13 times, making great contributions to the business cooperation and development between different countries.
