A CIFIT promotion team attended the 14th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF for short) last week. The team set up a booth in the fair and explored the possibilities of developing cooperation with the attending professionals.

MIF is an economic and trade exhibition to promote international co-operation and exchange in investment and trade, as well as a prestigious annual event among the business sectors in Macao.

During the trip, the promotion team visited the Economic Affairs Dept. of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao S.A.R. The team firstly appreciated their contribution on CIFIT in the past years, and invited them to take part in the 14th CIFIT. Director General of the Economic Affairs Dept. Zhou Zhikui highly valued CIFIT. He indicated that the Department would, as always, support the CIFIT’s promotions in Macao.

The promotion team also visited the Secretariado Permanente do Fórum para a Cooperação Económica e Comercial entre a China e os Países de Língua Portuguesa (Macau). Officials of the Secretariado Permanente do Fórum indicated that CIFIT is a key point in their works. They would try to setup an exhibition area over 500m2 during the 14th CIFIT.
