A delegation from the Liaison Department of the CIFIT Organizing Committee recently visited the consulates-general and chambers of commerce of more than 20 countries in Guangzhou, including the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the US, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. All these organizations expressed a strong interest in the new plans for the 14th CIFIT. The CIFIT Organizing Committee will work closely with these organizations next year, will initiate invitations well in advance, and expend greater efforts to attract high-ranking organizations.

During the visits, the hosts expressed a particularly strong interest in low-carbon economic concepts and suggested that CIFIT offer thematic events on new industries, technologies, projects, and cities involved in the low-carbon economy. CIFIT’s strongest advantage over similar fairs is its possession of regular channels for collection information in projects for publication on its online platform. The hosts expressed their hopes of taking advantage of CIFIT’s project matchmaking functionality to have a one-stop access to project information so that relevant business talks can be conducted.
