From this year, CIFIT organizers will launch a synchronized CIFIT on the Internet, officials announced on February 2 at the first preparatory work conference for the 14th CIFIT.
The online CIFIT will take advantage of the client and channel resources that CIFIT has accumulated over the past 13 years to build an innovative Web-basted investment platform. The platform will capitalize on global investment promotion resources and incorporate sophisticated technologies such as e-maps, multimedia, and 3G mobile phone terminal client management. It’s set to become a real-time “visual 3D showcase” of the offline CIFIT. It will provide fast access to information on global investment projects, investment climates, and clients, making it easier for prospective investors to explore investment opportunities online and offline.
Before the fair opens, online exhibitors will be allowed access to CIFIT’s global client resources and to conduct road shows, invite clients or prepare for matchmaking events; thus, they will become active and interact with prospective investors even before the fair opens. During the fair, the exhibitors’ on-site promotional events will be broadcast live on the Web, and business people may browse related information, talk online with customer service personnel, and register their contact details and investment intensions. The online communication between the business people and exhibitors can be forwarded to the contacts’ mobile phones via the mobile terminals. After the fair, online exhibitors can continue to take advantage of the online exhibition hall to conduct promotional events, such as miniature online matchmaking symposia and industry investment seminars, to attract continuous visits from business people, expand their potential client base, and identify new investment leads.
