The Phase III of the Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Centre will start construction this May.
 
Located to the south of the centre, the new sit is scheduled to be put into use during next year’s CIFIT (China International Fair for Investment & Trade) on Sept. 8-11.
 
Phase III will include a total ground floor area of 70,000m2 and an underground floor area of 90,000m2.
 
Upon completion, the total exhibition area of the centre will reach 100,000 square meters, making it in the upper level in the country and is expected to attract extra large commercial roving exhibitions from home and abroad.  
 
In addition, a new underground car lot will be built to provide 1,200 parking spaces.
 
At present, the convention and exhibition centre has less than 1,000 parking spaces on the ground.
