The Treasury International Capital (TIC) issued by the US Treasury Department on August 16 indicated that as of late June 2010, China had totally USD843.7b of Treasury in hand, another decline of USD24b of Treasury in June, following the decrease of USD32.5b of Treasury in May, but was still the largest overseas holder of US Treasury.
The TIC also showed that the second and third largest overseas holders of Treasury, Japan and the UK saw an increase of Treasury holding in the month to USD16.9b and USD12.2b more respectively, with the amount of Treasury holding of USD803.6b and USD362.2b respectively.
