The 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade is to be held in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Anhui province will send delegations to the fair and Hefei has already applied for 66 projects, mainly concerning real estate, to attract investment on line, according to our correspondent on August 12.

It is reported that counties and districts in Hefei has finished filling and applying online projects even before August 10. According to the statistics, Hefei applys for 66 recommended projects, 51 of which are about real estate and relevant items, accounting for 77%, 11 of which are manufacturing industry, occupying 23%. All the applied projects are published on the official website of China International Fair for Investment and Trade.

Relatively speaking, the highly focused advanced manufacturing industry, hi-tech industry, service industry, modern agriculture industry and environmental industry have far less applied projects.
 
Anhui plans to hold a special land promotion fair during the 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade in the afternoon of September 9. Besides, relevant sections are negotiating with local chamber of commence to hold other investment fairs.

The biggest lightspot is the 2nd World Investment Forum(WIF) held at the same time, from September 6 to 9. It is an international high level forum, hosted by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) with a theme of "Investment and Sustainable Development", aiming at further analysing and discussing global investment problems in post financial crisis. By report, Anhui top officials will be invited to attend the forum.
