China and Japan will hold the 3rd high-level economic dialogue in August 28 in Beijing. By then, Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan and will Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada will co-chair the dialogue.
The current world is just at a critical stage from answering the crisis to promoting the full recovery, and the adjustment of global economic structure and the change of economic development method is a common issue requiring all the countries to strengthen cooperation and work together. In this context, the dialogue held by China and Japan, on making economic recovery measures, strengthening bilateral mutually-beneficial and win-win cooperation and carrying out dialogue about global and regional cooperation, plays an important role. The dialogue will promote the sustainable development of Chinese-Japanese economic cooperation and consolidate the bilateral strategic and mutually beneficial relationship.
The high-level economic dialogue between china and Japan is the economic cooperation mechanism at highest level of the two countries. The first two dialogues were held in December 2007 and June 2009 respectively in China and Japan.
