Wal-Mart, which tops the list of Fortune 500 Companies, will stage a 300-square-meter exhibition at the forthcoming CIFIT for the first time, and its China president will exchange views with various mayors on the development of China’s economy and share the company’s sustainable development experience across the world and particularly in China.
CIFIT organizers will, for the first time ever, arrange for corporate presidents and various mayors from across China to explore paths of cities’ sustainable development together. Scholars in economics, government officials, and Wal-Mart China president will share their insights from different perspectives. Organizers hope that such talks will help identify an optimal path to sustainable economic development in the cities and to attract more foreign investment.
The talks are set to be the highest level dialogue in the history of CIFIT.
