The first batch of equipment and exhibition items for the 14th CIFIT were delivered to Xiamen via Dongdu Port on 27th August, the Xiamen Exit-Entry Inspection & Quarantine Bureau specially launched a special window for the inspection and quarantine of the CIFIT equipments and items, reports China Radio Network.
These equipments are from Taiwan Software Association, including 3 computers, 1 stereo system and 6 projectors. The items are tea sets, glasses and kettles. These equipments and items are worth 33,700 US dollars.
The Xiamen Exit-Entry Inspection & Quarantine Bureau said more exhibition equipment and items will be imported from Taiwan and Switzerland, including mechanical and electrical products, promotional materials and Taiwanese food (Kaoliang dried beef, oolong tea, etc).
According to the Xiamen Exit-Entry Inspection &Quarantine Bureau, the special window has adopted a 24-hour inspection and quarantine system and will intensively inspect the CIFIT equipments and items, in bid to improve clearance efficiency.
