    CIFIT aims at developing itself into China's largest international investment exposition; China's biggest international investment promotion arena; and the bridge for economic and trade cooperation across the Taiwan Straits.

    CIFIT is a fair focusing on worldwide investment promotion, supplemented by trade of products of foreign-invested enterprises as well as internal and external trade, supported by multifarious exhibitions, and distinctively characterized by economic and trade cooperation across the Taiwan Straits.

    CIFIT and "Canton Fair" are both national economic and trade events sponsored by MOFTEC. Nevertheless, "Canton Fair" focuses on the trade of export commodities, while CIFIT focuses on investment promotion.
