Based on Philippines Economic News, executive director of the Philippines Department of Investors, Hernalis said at the Philippine Business Forum held by the Embassy of the Republic of Philippines in Beijing that the global economy has shown the sign of recovery, and the Philippines proactively takes actions firstly in the hope of attracting China to invest in the Philippines.
Hernalis holding an additional post of vice minister of the Ministry of Philippine Industry and Commerce headed a delegation of soliciting investment of the Philippines Department of Investors and paid a visit to 5 cities of China, namely, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing and Hangzhou during August 24-29 to interpret the policies, laws and regulations, institutions and preferential polices for investment of the Philippines to Chinese business groups and investors as well as suggestions on how to invest in the Philippines.
