Qian Fangli, deputy director of Department of Foreign Investment Administration of Ministry of Commerce, revealed in the 6th China International Service Outsourcing Conference that in the context of the international financial crisis, China’s service outsourcing industry was still making good achievement, with an increase of over 200% year-on-year in contract signing of undertaking international services.
According to the statistics of Ministry of Commerce, from January to September in 2009, there were 3,287 newly increased services outsourcing enterprises and 585,000 increased employees, including 398,000 new college (including junior college) graduates. The contracted amount was USD12.69b in undertaking of international services outsourcing, with an increase of 212% year-on-year, and the actual implemented contracted amount was USD7.3b, increasing 170% year-on-year. In the background of the international financial crisis, China’s services outsourcing industry still made great achievement.
