Yuan Yuan, Vice Director of the Operating Department of the CIFIT Organizing Committee and Vice Director of China (Xiamen) International Investment Promotion Center, along with her associates Zhao Wen and Qin Huixian, visited various foreign commercial organizations and embassies in Beijing from October 26 to 30, 2009. The organizations that they visited included the Beijing offices of the Japan-China Investment Promotion Organization, the German Chamber of Commerce, the Korea Trade Association, the China-US Chamber of Commerce, the Italy-China Foreign Trade Committee, the Canada-China Trade Council, the US-China National Trade Committee, the Australia International Chamber of Commerce, the China Office of the Jordan Investment Committee, the China Mission of the EU Europe Committee, the Australia Trade Committee, the China Trade Representative Office of the Pacific Island Nations Forum, the Republic of Macedonia Foreign Investment Agency, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and the Ukrainian Embassy in Beijing. 

The visitors discussed next year’s cooperation in depth with the hosts; they also promote the 14th CIFIT’s overseas pavilion, pavilion day events, forums, seminars, and project matchmaking symposia, and solicited opinions. 

These visits were fruitful and helped explore ways to consolidate partnerships and identify a path to future development. The hosts expressed interest in establishing website links for mutual benefits and to draw upon each other’s strengths to promote their brand identity and to present relevant events on hot topics.
