This year’s CIFIT will host a vast range of exhibitions, talks and conferences on hot socio-economic topics, such as alternative energy, energy conservation and emission reduction, and international investment in the post-crisis era. These events will be staged in an innovative manner, and stronger efforts will be made to promote CIFIT’s investment promotion functions and to create a better environment for participants to locate prospective partners.
For the first time ever, CIFIT will stage “province (city) day” events and host dedicated project matchmaking symposia, promotion seminars on investment climates (and key industries and projects), and cultural shows. Vigorous efforts will be made to fully tap CIFIT’s role as a platform for high-level public relations promotion and project matchmaking. Furthermore, diversified exhibitions, demonstrations, seminars, and exchanges will be carried out, and a platform will be built for the release of investment policies and information on regulatory frameworks, capital flows and investment projects. Related national authorities, including the Ministry of Commerce, as well as the CIFIT Organizing Committee and related domestic and overseas agencies, will host a series of high-level forums and seminars. Confirmed forums and seminars include the China Investment Promotion Seminar for Overseas Chinese Merchants, the Forum of Leaders of Global Chambers of Commerce, the China (Xiamen) Forum for the Mayors of International Sister Cities, the Capital Forum, the Australia-China Fortune Forum, the China International Forum for the Development of Cultural Creative Industries, and the Asia Investment Fund Summit. More than 50 countries and regions are expected to host investment climate seminars at this year’s CIFIT.
