In recent years, as the construction of Chongqing inland open high land is being pushed forward and the guarantee work of investment rights and interests of Taiwan compatriots in Chongqing is being effectively carried out, investment of Taiwanese businessmen in Chongqing shows a good trend of development. Registered data indicated that as of late June, there had been totally 324 Taiwanese-invested enterprises in the city, of which corporate enterprises amounted to 180 ones, with total investment of USD1.35b, registered capital of USD589m and subscribed contribution by foreign party of USD542m.
