Up to late June 2010, there had been totally 5006 auction enterprises nationwide, with 177 branches and 9165 auctioneers. In the first half of this year, the auction industry realized the turnover of RMB250.655b, up 122% from a year earlier but down 30% from a month earlier. Among them, the turnover in the first quarter and second quarter increased 262% and 48.46% from a year earlier but declined 41.43% and 21.97% from a month earlier respectively, and except for the industrial features of low turnover in the beginning of the quarter and high turnover in the end, the auction industry has basically got rid of the financial crisis with the business steadily rising.
