The 14th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will take full advantage of ECFA and the advancement of the West Taiwan Strait Economic Development Zone to expand cooperation with Taiwan, organizers announced on September 5.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
With regard to exhibitions, in addition to the 6th Strait Travel Fair, the 14th CIFIT will include exhibition space for the investment projects and commodities from Taiwan counties and cities. Besides, Taiwan quarters will debut on the 2nd China International Property Investment Fair and groups of Taiwan real estate developers will gather in Xiamen for the first time. Taiwan Land Development Co. Ltd., a leading player in Taiwan’s land market, will stage an exhibition of over 400 square meters. It will also hold the Taiwan Real Estate Projects Investment and Promotion Meeting, where projects worth more than RMB 8 billion will be featured.

As for seminars, the Ministry of Commerce and the Taiwan Affairs Office will hold the 5th Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum on ECFA topics. Besides, the Organizing Committee of the CIFIT will team up with Taiwan authorities in seminars such as the Matchmaking Symposium for the Internet of Things and the Forum on Industry Development Trends, the 2010 Cross-Strait Forum on Drinking Water Safety and Health, and other forums and seminars.
