Yesterday, a press conference about a supporting program of CIFIT, the Seminar on Investing in China by Overseas Chinese Merchants, was hosted by Xiamen Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. “Not only our old friends such as Lucio C. Tan, Gao Wutong but also many promising young and middle-aged overseas Chinese merchant groups will attend the fair.” The VIP guests include, according to Huang Meiyuan, Lee Shin Cheng, a Malaysian Chinese business magnate; Mr. Sy Ching Tam, new president of Fil-Chinese Fraternity Association; Bonnie Ang Swie Chien, president of Brunei China Friendship association; Ouyang Yuansen, Chairman of CCFA; Woo Yaozhou, President of Brazil-China Economic Promotion Association; and Lee Chung-Lun, Chairman of Chinese Russian Cultural Exchange Center.
It is said there will be exclusive TV interviews during CIFIT hosted by Dong Qian, a renowned hostess of CCTV, in which several mayors and Chinese entrepreneurs will have direct discussions.
