The 1st CIFIT attracted more than 6,200 overseas business people of 64 delegations from 52 countries and regions. More than 2000 business guests and over 100 enterprises from Taiwan participated in the fair. Fujian, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shanxi, Anhui, Qinghai, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei, Sichuan, Jilin, Zhejiang, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Harbin, Wuhan, Xiamen, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Coal Industry, State Commission for Restructuring Economic System, Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs under the State Council, Taiwan Affair Office of the State Council, State Patent Office, China Development Zones Association, China Association of Enterprises with Investment, China Council for Foreign International Trade Promotion and Xinjiang Production & Construction Corp took part in the fair as member units of CIFIT.The 1st CIFIT had 1668 contracts signed with a total amount of foreign 4.632 billion USD. The trade volume totaled to 1.102 billion USD.
